Privacy & retention
SiteScope processes account email, a stable authentication user ID, submitted public URLs, audit results, credit history, and purchase records to operate the service. Google receives the submitted website URL to run PageSpeed Insights. Avoid URLs containing personal information or secret query parameters.
Private reports are accessible to their owner and authorized administrators. Creating a share link allows anyone with that link to view the premium report until expiry or revocation. Payment pages are hosted by PayTabs; SiteScope does not collect card details.
Rate-limit identifiers use keyed IP digests rather than raw IP storage. Rate-limit rows are removed after 48 hours. Provider error records are retained for 30 days. Report data remains until you delete it or request account deletion. Deleting a report immediately removes its raw and normalized content, without restoring credits.
Account deletion disables access immediately and removes reports and share links. The owner should complete the removal workflow within 30 days, pseudonymizing the stored email and removing encrypted purchase codes. A stable pseudonymous account identifier, lifetime allowance grant, and append-only accounting records are retained to prevent repeat allowances and preserve transaction history. Payment and tax retention periods must be set by the owner according to applicable obligations before commercial launch.
Database backups may retain removed content until the configured backup period expires. The owner must configure that period, a privacy contact, business identity, and any legally required disclosures before launch.
